Cocoa butter comes hard. In order to temper colored cocoa butter, warm cocoa butter in increments to approximately 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 degrees Celsius.
Cocoa Butter can also be colored with powdered colors and oil based chocolate colors.
Colored Cocoa Butter can be used in wide variety of applications including airbrushing chocolates, airbrushing cakes, airbrushing fondant, coloring bon bon molds, painting cakes, and coloring chocolates. You can also apply tempered colored cocoa butter to acetate sheet to create you own transfer.
