This white marble rolling pin with handles and base stays cool (especial if chilled before use) and therefore doesn't transfer any heat to your dough or pastry. Applying to much heat can cause the butter to melt and the structure of the pastry to fall apart. This marble rolling pin has nylon bearings and comes with a wooden stand. Be sure to use this stand when chilling or storing your pin to avoid any damage to your pin.

Never soak your rolling pin in water.
