Silicone Mold Celtic Lace 2 Piece Motif

This 2 piece Celtic Lace motif mould can be used with sugar paste and flower paste to make very attractive decorations for use on wedding and celebration cakes. The mould is easy to use, even for the beginner, giving you great scope in sugarcraft. High quality silicone rubber is used in producing the mould, making it very durable and flexible. De-moulding the finished item is easy with this double sided lace designs. Mix equal parts of flowerpaste and sugarpaste and roll out to about 2.5 mm thick. The size of strip should be slightly greater in size then the overall pattern on the mould. If the paste is sticky, lightly dust the surfaces with cornflower. Place the paste between the two halves of the mould and press evenly using your hand ensuring that a good impression is formed. Remove from the mould and place on a flat board. Using a small diameter cutting wheel, trim any excess paste from around the pattern. Using edible powder colours, dust to achieve the required coloured effect. On the back face of the lace, paint sparingly with food grade glue. Attach this to the cake and leave to dry. Size : 3 3/4" x 3" / 9.53 x 7.62 cm
